I'm Robert Kotsch, a technical builder specializing in learning. Since 2009, I have designed and produced around 60 digital learning courses, primarily for technical, regulatory, and safety-related subjects. At chemmedia AG, where I have worked since 2016, I combine instructional design with software development, 3D visualization, and production automation.

Not every subject fits into slides or a standard authoring tool. When the material calls for it, I build interactive simulations, reusable HTML5 learning assets, 3D explanations, and supporting production tools. Recent examples include a browser-based braiding-machine simulation for textile trainees and technical product visualizations for Märklin special-edition models.

AI is integrated throughout my workflow—from brainstorming, research, workshop and meeting preparation to production, localization, quality assurance, and support. I use it to structure complex material, analyze hundreds of participant responses, transcribe speech, localize content into more than a dozen languages, and automate repetitive production tasks. I remain responsible for the decisions, verification, technical quality, and final delivery.
